Un nuevo giro... A new twist...

Desde bien temprano pocas cosas me han dado tantas satisfacciones como el bricolaje. Obviamente, a medida que yo iba creciendo mis trabajos se hacían más complejos y elaborados, según crecían así mismo mis posibilidades de acceso a las herramientas y las ideas eran más ambiciosas. Pero las satisfacciones se ven completadas cuando consigo realizar objetos de uso específico para otra de mis aficiones: la fotografía y cine. En relación a esto, el torno para metales es un elemento que me proporciona grandes satisfacciones: moldear y trabajar el metal a voluntad para construir las cosas que se me ocurren, que me encargan, pequeñas reparaciones… y así la cosa tomó un nuevo giro, por lo gratificante del trabajo realizado, por el aprovechamiento del mismo debido a los lazos que con esta herramienta se crean entre mi profesión y una de mis aficiones.

En esta línea de cosas, los adaptadores para el objetivo Schneider-Kreuznach MC Xenovaron f1.1 11-30 mm de los proyectores Bauer y poderlos usar en proyectores Elmo son una de las piezas de las que más satisfecho estoy, y que incluso aportan rentabilidad al torno. Por encargo de un amigo, investigador como pocos en este mundillo del cine amateur, hice unos rodillos para película de 16 mm que él utilizó en la transformación de una pistadora Bolex-Weberling para película, y también un eje-tambor de pistado que se puede ver en estas imágenes.

Las baterías para cámaras Beaulieu 4008 habitualmente se encuentran agotadas por la corta vida de éstas, y se hace preciso reparar su función de modo que podamos seguir usando estas bonitas cámaras de Super 8. Originalmente las baterías para estas cámaras eran de 250 mA, y su duración y vida útil era relativamente corta. Pero actualmente podemos regenerarlas haciendo que su uso sea más extenso y así dar mayor autonomía al cineasta. Yo he conseguido renovar éstas baterías aumentando su intensidad hasta 1000 mA, con un acabado en aluminio anodizado que combina bien con los colores de la cámara Beaulieu.
